Manning Audit

The Manning Audit is a consulting engagement. It revisits the five measured dimensions of the Index, adds three dimensions that only you can document—lead generation, customer relationships and retention, and performance and growth—and produces numbered priorities, each with a budget, owner, and 90-day follow-up metric. You'll be asked approximately sixty questions. $4,500, including the Index.

    Manning Audit

$4,500, including the Manning Index. Approximately sixty questions for the business owner. Follow-up measurement at day 90.

The Index measures what can be observed from the outside. The Audit adds what only you know.

A structured interview of approximately sixty questions documents your business reality: where your customers actually come from, what an engagement is worth, and what happens after the first sale. Three self-reported dimensions are then added to the five measured dimensions—lead generation, customer relationships and retention, and performance and growth.

Your file is then reviewed from five distinct analytical perspectives and reconciled. Differences in expert opinion are resolved before delivery: you receive a position, not a debate.

The Audit report is a decision-making document. One idea per page. Your priorities are numbered, and each has an owner, dependencies, a budget range, and a metric to assess the results at 90 days. The Audit also establishes your response gap: the distance between the questions your customers actually ask and the pages that answer them, answer them in buried content, or don't answer them at all.

An evidence workbook accompanies the report. Every business-impact figure comes from your own answers, and the document says so.

The Report shows. The Index measures. The Audit prescribes. Monitoring tracks.

Manning. See where you stand. Know how to get ahead.
